Civil Ceremony

The civil ceremony at the registry office is the only legally recognized form of marriage in Germany.

You need: ID cards, certified copies of birth certificates, residence confirmations. Registration at your local registry office.

You can appoint up to two witnesses, exchange rings, and request music.
