Wedding Vows

Wedding vows are personal promises exchanged during the ceremony.

Tips: Write them 2-3 weeks beforehand. Speak from the heart, keep it brief (1-2 minutes). Practise aloud in front of a mirror. Bring a copy — nerves are normal.

For non-religious ceremonies, personal vows are standard. For church ceremonies, the liturgical formulas are usually spoken, but personal words can be added.
